Description
Priced to SELL! Only $95! This is a very rare design. After 24 years in this business, I’ve never seen another one like this.
LOCATION- about 6km North of BRISBANE City.
Background and Provenance
An obvious investment opportunity- this table has been priced to sell. Love these sweeping curves and the seamless infusion of industrial styling with a feeling of soul. Warren McArthur’s signature caps also get a prominent showing here. This piece would be perfect as a coffee table- I’ve also used it as a TV stand. Nice minimalist look. The dimensions are great- it’s narrow which means it doesn’t take up a large footprint. It also gets a resounding tick for both durability and quality- just look at it after about 80 years of use! There’s no reason why it won’t last forever.

For something that's about 80 years old, this looks great. The piece is solid and sturdy with NO noticeable dents, NO bent metal, NO cracks in the metal etc etc- the structural brilliance of McArthur’s work has been longed praised and resulted from his engineering background. McArthur patented the “beehive” joins and these became the trademark of all his furniture. The frame is tubular aluminium and has a brushed silver anodized finish. This anodized finish has various marks over the years and losses of colour but the piece still looks good overall. The photos clearly show the condition of the piece. The heavy-duty white laminate top is in brilliant condition. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
