Description
I sold this pair of Kandya Jason Chairs within days of being listed in iNVISeDGE for $895 the pair back in 2007. They sold to a fashion designer who had already bought the McLay Kone chairs I had (they were also way under-priced). I wouldn’t sell this pair for anything less than $1595 these days (12 years later). Proof that buying vintage design is not really buying at all but investing. What an earner- you get to enjoy using them in your home while they increase in value!
I can’t find the description I wrote for this pair back in 2007- Microsoft Word has eaten it! So I wrote the short blurb below for this design in 2019.
Known as the Jason chair and produced by Kandya, this 1950’s design classic is highly collectable today fetching up to $2000 PER CHAIR overseas (Google “Kandya Jason chairs” to verify values). Developed in the 1950’s by Carl Jacobs and Frank Guille in the UK, the Jason chair came with metal or timber legs- the timber-legged version is much more sought-after these days. I have not come across another pair of Jason chairs to stock in iNVISeDGE since I sold this pair 12 years ago. (Written in 2019.)
