Another amazing sideboard from the ART DECO era. I think what makes these pieces so special is the amazing workmanship that exudes from these classic works of art. The hours of painstaking effort and attention to detail (ALL BY HAND) is obvious when you see these pieces in person- a lot of love has been put into these cabinets which is refreshing in this age of mass-produced furniture made by machines where the only love is the money they make for a few rich fat-cats! Art Deco cabinets are strong investment pieces- the hours of careful work involved means they will never do replicas of items like this- these hours would convert to a $4400+ price-tag in today’s market (and that’s being conservative). This one has classic (and authentic) ART DECO styling, I’d estimate it was done in the 1930’s. It’s an incredibly DURABLE piece of furniture- built to stand the test of time and it already has! Just look at it after about 70 years of use! This piece features brilliant curves, stunning geometric designs in the Walnut timber veneer, FANTASTIC deco handles and an air of stature and imagination, synonymous with virtually all deco pieces. This is a piece to be passed from one generation to the next. There’s no better way to invest in your home and reduce landfill.
