This listing price is for ONE of these stools only- they SOLD for $159 EACH back in 2007. I’ve never seen this design again so in 2019 I’d price a single at about $295 each (OR AROUND $590 THE PAIR). This iNVISeDGE customer got a great investment.

A very rare VINTAGE Eames aluminium group bar stool. These are the only ones of these I’ve ever seen. These stools were produced by MUNNOCH of Sydney in the late 1960’s or 1970’s (PRICE was for ONE STOOL only). It is my understanding that these are the exact EAMES design and Munnoch had the license to produce several Eames’ designs in Australia at the time. (I remember reading this somewhere not long ago but I can’t find it anymore. The embossing and ink stamp underneath is done in EXACTLY the same way as Herman Miller pieces made in the USA.) These fibreglass shell chairs are a design icon. First designed around 1949, the fibreglass shell chair was a landmark piece of furniture design and as such is held in various galleries around the world. Even though the design is about 50 years old, the style is perfect for a modern designer interior of today, vouching for the timelessness of the design. This stool is vintage- about 30 years old- and presents in brilliant condition which guarantees the quality of the construction you’ll be getting. I’ve seen new bar stools sell for a lot more than this price- for a vintage Eames chair this is a bargain!
