I have had no negative feedback in over 14 years selling on ebay and this has been my full-time occupation. This is your guarantee that I work hard to describe all my stock as accurately as possible and will not stock items I can’t personally recommend- some items I acquire don’t end up in iNVISeDGE because they don’t make the grade. (I sell these under a different user name on ebay.) DIRECT BANK DEPOSIT is HIGHLY preferred and appreciated. We don’t like it but we are forced to offer Paypal by ebay. We have run an ebay internet business for 14 years- our feedback is solid proof of what we’re like to deal with. In plain English on our shop-front are the words from our many customers- every grievance a customer has ever had with us (none) and every recommendation we’ve had (hundreds). You can’t get that if you walk into any shop off the street. Despite the unease ebay is instilling in internet customers so that they pay via Paypal (and make more money for ebay), the safest way to buy on ebay (and the only way to ensure a pain-free experience) is to buy from sellers with solid feedback. Ebay’s success was built purely on the feedback system- years before Paypal and its fees were invented.

PLEASE NOTE- I live in Brisbane and run this business from Brisbane. PICK-UPS and VIEWINGS will be facilitated by a sub-contractor (someone who is NOT an employee of iNVISeDGE). I recommend that customers use a specialist furniture carrier for larger furniture items to protect their investment- these people know what they’re doing and come with what’s needed to look after your investment.

Due to new ebay regulations which make more money for ebay, iNVISeDGE will no longer organize the freight for our customers. We have organized all our customers freight for over 11 years but ebay has now made this impossible. We now guide buyers as closely as possible in the area of freight (for no additional cost). Ebay now charge sellers a fee to arrange freight (and postage) for buyers (and a Paypal fee as well when buyers use Paypal). For this item we would need to give ebay up to $60 just to organize the freight for you on top of ebay’s other fees. (There are about 6 fees now.) I will not pay ebay $60 (or anything) to make the transport arrangements for my customers. I have to go out of my way to provide this service (and get paid nothing to do it). I don’t understand why I’d have to pay ebay to do it.

I will help customers in every way possible with freight arrangements. I made a conscious choice to get rid of my vehicle in 2009 (for environmental reasons). Since then EVERY invisedge item has been transited by a freight carrier at least one-way (usually both ways). Therefore I have a depth of experience and knowledge in this area. I will inform all iNVISeDGE customers of the transport carriers best suited to their job, what each carrier charges and their strengths.

This extra freight consultation service will be provided FREE OF CHARGE TO ALL iNVISeDGE CUSTOMERS. (This service is currently charged to non-iNVISeDGE customers at $20. Knowing who to use- who’s reliable, experienced, good at handling items and cost-effective is most of the challenge with furniture freight.)

Customers will be in control of their own freight so they will know exactly what’s going on but at any time they also have the option to consult with us. My experience in the area will ensure you’re looked after and the freight process will be seamless and easy.

Delivery to the SYDNEY AREA will be ABOUT $-$. Freight prices will depend on a variety of factors including delivery issues, your access situation, where you live, how flexible you are with when delivery can occur and the type of carrier you choose.

This sofa and matching chair are BOTH in excellent vintage condition. They’re about 50-60 years old and both pieces present very well for the age of the suite. The frame is solid timber and extremely sturdy with NO breaks, NO repairs, NO movement in any joint area, NO cracks in the timber (nothing of that sort). The timber legs may have a few minor surface marks but nothing that ruins the suite. I love the quality of this sofa the most out of everything. Note the expert substructure with galvanised bolts, the steel spring seating system and the latex foam under the seats. Latex is the premium choice and will last for many years (virtually forever) when its covered with leather. The only things that can degrade latex cushioning is direct sunlight and moisture so with premium leather on top latex will outlast anything else and this has. After 50-60 years the foam in still in brilliant condition and with the current upholstery should last a lifetime if used with some sense. The fabric undersides of the loose cushions show aging- mainly wear but this is not noticed on display and only noticed when the cushions are flipped over. This is of no concern but what it does is verify that this leather is very likely to be original. The dustcovers underneath the sofa are gone (they would have been getting very “ratty” some time ago and were removed). There’s no indication that the leather on the frame has been re-upholstered. It’s just that this is the highest quality leather money can buy. Look at it after about 50 years! It’s wearing beautifully and will continue to do so. It has minor signs of age and use but nothing that warrants a mention. The leather has a few minor scuffs but nothing that effects the display of this suite at all. The suite shows signs of use- NO abuse and NO noticeable damage. Just minor creases. NO cracks into the leather. NO cuts, NO splits, NO holes from wear. There’s a knock to one corner that’s created a small hole in the leather on that back corner (less than 1cm). This is never noticed as it’s below eye-level and this area has been colour corrected- it’s virtually impossible to spot (and because it’s from knocking the corner of the lounge and NOT from use it’s of no consequence).
