(This Day-Night lounge sofa sold through iNVISeDGE in 2006 for $1895. These days in 2018 I’d price the exact same item at about $2295 (possibly more).

This piece was professionally re-upholstered and restored. We don’t sell many re-upholstered pieces these days. If you have interest in purchasing a similar piece let us know and we’ll work with you through the re-upholstery process to help you choose a fabric that’s right for you and your home. If you have a similar item to SELL- particularly if you’re an upholsterer, we work hard to sell your items for what they’re worth and charge only a 5% to 18.5% commission to take control of the whole sales process for you. (5% to 11% commission for those in the business.) We are happy to promote you and your business- we know how hard it is for small businesses to get noticed and for craftspeople in Australia to get paid a fair price for their talents. If you’re a private seller and have a similar sofa to sell let us know as we achieve some of the best online sales results in Australia. Because our business is set-up exclusively online our commission fee is only 18.5% to take control of the sales process for you. We will only sell your item for a fair price and over the last 19 years we’ve built a customer base all over Australia that continues to grow every day.

This was a great sofa- the back had metal supports so it could slide off effortlessly to create a day bed in seconds. Certainly one of the most stylish day/beds we’ve had in 17 years of trading, this 1950’s piece takes cues from the likes of Snelling, Featherston, Wrightbuilt and even the boutique makers such as the Rosando Brothers, Dario Zoureff, Jacob Rudowski and Krimper however I’m not certain who the maker is as this particular design is rare. The construction qualities are exceptional and the piece was completely solid and sturdy despite over 55 years of use (back in 2006 when we sold it). The piece also offers a solid investment opportunity, since we sold this item in 2006 we’d certainly price this piece at a decent bit more than we sold for back then. In the future a piece like this should achieve similar gains (probably more if a maker could be ascertained!)
