Description
Provenance and Background Info
(This PAIR sold for $550 for BOTH through iNVISeDGE back in 2005. These days in 2019 I’d price the exact same pair at around $795. They’re extremely hard to get as a PAIR.)
NOTE- This description was written in 2005. I’d write it a bit differently in 2019 but decided to keep the description as it was written back then.)
A PAIR of 1970’s PARKER bedside tables in a bold style with great interior design appeal. PAIRS of vintage bedsides are near impossible to find and as a result hold very strong investment appeal. This pair has a bold interesting design that’s unique but also timeless- they were designed over 30 years ago but would still look great in any bedroom of today. These tables have a Parker ink stamp on the back reading, “Parker Furniture 17 JAN 1973”. Boasting the superior construction qualities for which PARKER FURNITURE is renowned (and with the Parker stamp) the re-sale value of these tables is assured (as long as you look after them with a bit of sense- use drink coasters if you’re going to put your morning coffee on these!). These cabinets could also be used in the living room with great effect- on each side of a TV stand these would provide very handy storage and look very cool. Pairs of vintage storage units that can be worked in with a contemporary style are near impossible to find- blink and you might miss these!
