These chairs SOLD for $1090 for all 6 back in 2007. These days in 2019 I’d price the exact same set of 6 at about $1500. These chairs are known as 61 series stacking laminated oak armchair designed by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen for Magnus Olesen in 1975.)

A stunning SET OF SIX Scandinavian dining chairs. These are AUTHENTIC Danish chairs WITH TAGS- Made In Denmark by Magnus Olesen. The striking arcs in the armrest section produce a unique and captivating design but it’s still understated at the same time. The design is minimalist and simple and would cap off a sleek stylish look in your dining space. The light coloured timber, coupled with the cool tone of the wool, gives these chairs a fresh, clean style that’s an unusual slant on the usual Danish chairs. Chairs in this style are not easy to produce and rarely seen. I’d say these chairs are about 20-30 years old. I’ve never seen anything like these in the 5 years I’ve been doing this and doubt I’ll see this design again … and I almost forgot to mention they’re are incredibly comfortable to sit in. For dining chairs you’d be VERY hard-pressed to find anything more relaxing. These Magnus Olesen chairs are certainly valued at much more than this price- don’t miss them!
