Background Info and Provenance
A set of 6 Pedrali Noa chairs designed by Marc Sadler- made in Italy. These chairs have won various design awards because of their seamless combination of elegance with perfect proportions. They’re beautifully comfortable chairs- nice high back for excellent support, a slight curve in the seat and back plus quality cushioning for softness. The upholstered seat is contained in a polycarbonate shell with a glossy surface. The resulting look is chic and clean- the textured fabric adds a point of interest and pop of colour. The look just works, but aside from this, they’re are great chairs all round. The polycarbonate shell is very tough and easy to clean- the steel frame adds further durability and strength. Plus, the powder-coated finish to the base will help ensure these chairs look great for the long-term. With normal use, I see no reason why they won’t last for several generations. The fabric is also top-notch- it’s one of the most stylish fabrics I’ve seen plus very hard-wearing too.
I can imagine these chairs in lots of places- if you have a view of water, they’d be great in helping to meld the interior with your view. In a beachside apartment, they’d be perfect- no “busyness” to the styling which will help to carry your eye outside quickly. The Noa is also stackable which tops off a very well-considered design all round.
The set of 6 chairs on offer here is also great value for money. As shown in the screenshot, these chairs retail new for 416 EURO, equivalent to 658 Australian dollars (so almost $4000 for 6!). I strongly doubt they could even make them for our price. (Ours are also in great condition, with no noticeable signs of use.)
After most modern chairs have ended up as landfill, this set of award-winning, Italian-made chairs will still be doing what they were designed to do. There are massive variations to the quality of chairs on the market today- this set has been designed to withstand heavy use. There’s no better way to invest in your home and our environment.
