I think this is a FLER piece- I’m not entirely sure because I’ve only seen a handful of these in the 17 years I’ve been in this business. These types of designs are one of the the reasons I do this job. I found it in a St. Vinnies store- marked down from $100 to $75 back in 2005. It was the type of thing everyone walked past- the cushions were upholstered in a busy 80’s number- lots of pastel colours- light blue, apricot, pink and green- big flowers and splashes of what looked like vomit. If you gave it a second look, it would have been for all the wrong reasons! Once the cushions were re-upholstered in white, it popped- it instantly became sleek, minimalist, timeless and everyone wanted it. (It was one of my most popular listings back at the time and attracted an instant bid for $995.) These are loose cushions sitting on a frame, the upholstery job wasn’t overly expensive.
