Out of stock

This Framac coffee table SOLD through iNVISeDGE for $490 in 2005. (Just the single bid on ebay- ebay is not the right place to sell anything of any value- as I’ve since realised. I had no idea what I was doing back then and no idea how exceptional this piece was!) I’ve since seen these Framac Terrazzo coffee tables priced at up to $1,295 in Australia (in 2024).

These are exceptional even on a worldwide platform and easily compete with designer coffee tables from Italy made at the same time. Timeless good looks, RARITY, hours of workmanship ALL DONE BY HAND and incredible DURABILITY make these a really smart investment- certainly the type of piece I’d have in my own home if I ever found another one (but I haven’t come across any to stock in iNVISeDGE for years now (probably since 2007)!

Provenance and Background Info

(This description was written in 2007.)

This one’s a real favourite of mine- this Terrazzo coffee table has really grown on me the longer I’ve had it at the showroom and to me this is a good indicator of timeless design. It’s sleek and minimalist, but the earthy tones of the stone-top give the piece interest and warmth. This piece would be about 40 years old (written in 2007) but I feel would look brilliant in any design interior of today especially one where the “clinical” look needs to be counteracted. I rarely see these Framac Terrazzo coffee tables and this is only the second one I’ve stocked in iNVISeDGE- I love the earthy tones of this particular one. Many others I’ve seen were never right- either the stone pieces were ugly or the colours wrong. These were made by Australian firm, Framac, who are well-known for creating items of durability- I see no reason why this table won’t last forever!

Why buy furniture you see around everywhere when you can invest in an interesting and rare vintage piece that should only increase in value in the future? (Again written in 2007- this design has certainly increased in value a lot since then!)
