I sold this chair for $379 back in 2005. I had no idea who the maker was back then or how rare the design is. I’ve since discovered the design was done by Framac (of Sydney) in the early 1960’s and is called the T-Twin model. These days I would sell the exact same chair for about $1200-$1600. It has a lever that lowers the back all the way down flat to become a single bed! Incredibly strong and solid construction with a steel sub-structure and a great areodynamic shape, this is one of the best designs of the era and so practical. I had no idea how rare this chair was back in 2005- these days in 2018 I’m completely aware of the rarity. Apart from this chair I have seen one other (as a pair in a photo only which have been included as screenshots in this listing.) I believe this is an Australian design- I have come across none others for sale on an international platform.
