IT’S SO EASY! Just start buying products that are locally-made again … SIMPLES!

If we ALL do this, we will all prevent Australia from seeing the worst economic recession we’ll ever see. BUY LOCAL. SUPPORT LOCAL PEOPLE you know and trust. Buy from SMALL BUSINESSES. MINDFULLY put your money into our community. Watch it flow onto others who need it at this difficult time and then back onto you.

This is the VERY BEST TIME for us ALL to start considering EVERY SINGLE thing we buy- where the product comes from and what the brand or country stands for. Consider what you’re really supporting every time you buy any product. Does the product support the destruction of our environment? Exploit the workers who produce it? Is it poisonous? Does it promote cancer? Is the product tested on animals? Is the company or brand geared to destroy small business?

Ask yourself, “Is this product ethical?” every time you buy it. Does this item need to be shipped from the other side of the earth or can it be produced right here in Australia? Is it really a good idea to be buying something that’s made overseas when it could be produced right here in our own backyard? Why pollute the air to ship products thousands of kilometres when we don’t have to?

You CAN create the world YOU want to live in EVERY time you open your wallet or purse.

Cook that amazing meal at home you’ve never had time to cook using ingredients sourced from locally-run, locally-owned shops. Buy your noodles from that small grocery store you’ve never set foot into. The people who own and run these SMALL BUSINESSES have children too and they need your support right now! DON’T give all your money to the supermarket giants. (Most of that money ends up overseas, particularly when you buy from big giants such as Woolworths and Aldi).

Sick of that chair you’re sitting on? If you have job security, RIGHT NOW is the time to buy what you’ve always wanted from the locally-owned shop in your area that sells locally-sourced items or from a locally-owned online business. As a bonus, you’ll get REAL satisfaction from knowing you’re helping Australian businesses who need it. In return, that person will then support other small businesses in our community. Spread your love and support and others will do the same for you … SIMPLES!

Or retreat in fear, lose your creativity and watch this country go down the toilet with no toilet paper! PLEASE FOLLOW SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES AT THIS DIFFICULT TIME but that doesn’t mean you have to stop living- you can still comfort others- it doesn’t have to be physical. One of the easiest ways to do that is ask your loved ones, “R U OK?”. We can then all watch Australia blossom into something it never was before all of this Pandemic-Shit ever happened.

Stop multi-national companies ruling our governments, destroying our earth and the very fabric of our marketplace. Do something that matters EVERY DAY! Find out about EVERY product you buy and what the real costs are of supporting those businesses. BECOME EDUCATED! (Use Google- there are incredibly interesting documentaries out there that show what various HUGE businesses are up to such as … hmmm …. let me see … Consciously decide to create the world you want to live in by investing in businesses that support human values and the future of our world.

… And … yes, before I end this … I’m sick of hearing that we’re heading into a terrible recession. If everybody stops spending their money, you’ll be forced to watch your local community go into disarray. “They” (the government) is trying to be proactive- by stopping this virus before it becomes a Pandemic in Australia (it’s certainly nowhere near a Pandemic here yet). We can ALL help stop this country from going into the worst recession we’ll EVER see by MINDFULLY putting our money into the Australian community so we can watch it flow onto those who need it. Or you can hoard onto your money like F@*%*$# toilet paper! We are now seeing wet-wipes and paper-towel clogging up our sewers because of STUPID people’s hoarding. Hoard your money in times like this and just watch the effect on our community!!! (This will become worse than any clogged sewer!) PLEASE be sensible and PLEASE be proactive… right now!

We can ALL do something to prevent this Pandemic from destroying OUR way of life.

Now (written in April 2020) … is the very best time to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get to know the real cost of EVERY product you buy and what you’re really supporting EVERY time you buy it.

UPDATE!!! NOW IN AUGUST 2021 it is even more important because governments are shutting down all our small businesses and only allowing BIG BUSINESSES to operate. (Bunnings, Woolworths, BIG W, Target THEY’RE ALL OPEN at the moment and killing it (ie. making shitloads of money whilst all Aussie small-business battle along in the background making virtually nothing!) All our LOCAL small businesses are forced to CLOSE! Thanks (>>>>>>) governments!
