SORRY SOLD! GO TO OUR NEWLY LISTED CATEGORY! This PAIR of large single seaters is about 16 years old and in brilliant condition for the age. The construction qualities are brilliant- very solid and sturdy. There is NO movement in any joint, NO repairs, NO structural defects, NO cracks, NO splits. Cosmetically both frames present extremely well. Under the curved cane sections is solid timber which means the cane is fully supported and can’t be pushed in. (Unlike virtually all the furniture out there that looks similar to this.) One of the singles has a couple of broken cane strands (maybe 2cm long) but I’ve coloured the timber underneath to match. (This would have happened when someone in the past didn't load these into their vehicle carefully when they were moving house.) The cane is purely cosmetic. The small flaw to the cane is virtually impossible to spot (even when you’re crouched on the floor- see the close-up photos in the listing- some were taken when I was crouched on the floor). __________ The upholstery presents extremely well. I’d say this suite was re-upholstered about 3 years ago. As the photos show there are no noticeable signs of use. The suite has NOT been used in a household with pets or cigarette smokers. It has been very well looked-after. One back edge has minor fraying to that edge but this is not really noticeable (again, clearly shown in the photos). __________ The frame will last forever with normal use. The upholstery is easy to clean as all the cushion covers are removable and machine-washable on a gentle cycle (return the covers to the cushions whilst still damp to prevent shrinkage). When the upholstery starts to become tired or you just want a change re-upholstery is a breeze. Take the existing covers and new fabric to anyone with a sewing machine. It’s not a hard job nor costly. __________ The inner cushioning is all in incredibly good condition and will continue to last the long haul. This is the original cushioning and of the very best quality. The metal springs under the seats are all in brilliant condition. __________ Measurements. Across- 111cm. Depth- 86.5cm.
