THE MATCHING TABLE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE LISTED VALUE. These chairs SOLD for $440 THE PAIR back in 2007. Today in 2019 I’d price the exact same pair at about $940. (That is if I found another pair again- we don’t have any in the pipeline if you’re reading this.) I stated in the description I wrote in 2007 (pasted below) that these chairs should only increase in value over time and they have! This iNVISeDGE buyer got a great investment.

A stunning PAIR of “Satellite” chairs from the 1960’s with a cool design by Breotex of South Australia. This design is very clever because these chairs are so comfortable to settle back in- the seats have been designed to fit the contours of the body really well. They’d look eye-catching on the balcony of an inner-city apartment and be a pair you’ll never want to part with. In fact, an outdoor suite in a very similar design was the first item I ever kept for myself- I love it and almost kept this suite as well (but in the end I had to concede I had nowhere to put it!). These suites don’t collect the rain like a lot of outdoor furniture, they dry quickly and won’t discolour in full weather. (I’ve had mine for over three years, have never washed it and it looks the same as the day I put it outside.) I’ve sold two other pairs of Breotex Satellite chairs in the five years I’ve been doing this- both to customers with an astute eye for good design (they’ve become regular customers now). The design of these is amazing and like many of the dynamic furniture designs of this era draws inspiration from man’s space travels. The biggest draw-card of these chairs is their durability- look at them after over 40 years of being used outside! The investment appeal is also very solid- these chairs should only increase in value as you get to enjoy having them.
