Provenance and Background Info
(This PAIR sold for $695 for BOTH through iNVISeDGE back in 2007. These days in 2019 I’d price the exact same pair at around $695 – $840.)
NOTE- This description was written in 2007. I’d write it a bit differently these days but decided to keep the original description as it was back then.)
A PAIR of 1960s Danish inspired bedside chests in a bold style with great interior design appeal. Matching PAIRS of 1960s bedsides are near impossible to find and as a result hold great investment appeal. This is the first PAIR I have had in about 6 months (written in 2007). Inspired by the refined elegance of Danish furniture, this sleek style is incredibly timeless- these were designed over 40 years ago but would look great in any bedroom today. I’m not certain of the maker of this pair; the construction quality is equal to that of Parker pieces of the same era. Burgess comes to mind but I don’t know. They show excellent construction qualities with attention to detail and should look great for another lifetime yet (maybe more!). These are a good size and pretty much offer as much storage as is possible in bedside tables. Don’t miss them as matching pairs don’t come up often.
