A stylish PAIR of 1960s bedside cabinets with the sleek lines and beautifully refined style of Danish furniture. These were made by PARKER Furniture in the early 1960s when Parker was doing some of their best work. I have seen very few PAIRS of vintage bedsides in my time as the PAIR concept on each side of the bed only became popular in the late 1980’s. I can confidently say this pair by Parker would be close to the rarest you can get in Australia- the last pair of these I found was about a year ago now. Singles in this design are occasionally found but pairs are near impossible to get- we collected them as two singles and each was found over 6 months apart. This vintage pair of bedside tables boast expert construction qualities that has seen Parker Furniture emerge as an Australian market leader in furniture. This is a great furniture investment for the astute buyer as vintage PAIRS are always sought after but rarely found. One of these tables has the original PARKER foil tag from the 60’s which further strengthens the investment appeal.
