A PAIR of Maple bedside cabinets CUSTOM-MADE by HAND by Ricketts and Thorp of Sydney in the 1950’s. This is only the second PAIR of 1950s bedside cabinets we’ve had (in 6 years) so they hold great investment appeal, not only because of their rarity but because of the interior design appeal of this special pair. They’re stunning- architectural and unique. Any PAIR of vintage cabinets is incredibly tough to find (singles are around but pairs are virtually non-existent). As a result, when a pair is found the value PER cabinet is immediately doubled. This pair was constructed by Ricketts and Thorp of Sydney in the 1950s. This cabinetry firm constructed custom-made pieces at the time and built a reputation for expert cabinetry work and quality. I’ve had a couple of other Ricketts and Thorp pieces over the years and they’ve all been stand-out pieces. This pair is incredibly well built and the curves are just awe-inspiring. This PAIR offers a very rare opportunity for anyone searching for a QUALITY pair of bedsides built to endure both trends and use.
