If you have a similar item to sell AND YOU’RE A DEALER (you have an antique shop or market stall) I’d be very happy to list an item of this callibre online in iNVISeDGE (for around $529). NO COMMISSION FEE- you just pay us what you feel when you’ve had a good week. We will work at bringing new clientele into your shop or to your market stall. We’d need about 8 photos from all angles- your photos would have to be about as good as those shown in this listing. If you don’t have a shop and you’re a dealer, we’d also stock at item like this online in iNVISeDGE, we’ll find an online buyer for you and take control of the sales process on your behalf- in this case our commission fee would be around 10% to 18.5%. Again we’d need about 8 good photos from various angles- at least as good as those shown in this listing.

Items like this prove that good vintage and antique designs never go out of style- most actually increase in value (at least along with inflation).

Background Info and Provenance

(This description was written in 2007 when these tables sold.)

A vintage coffee table set from the early 1960s with a clever design and sleek refined style comprising of a coffee table and 2 side tables. These are PARKER FURNITURE pieces- they don’t have the PARKER stamps on them but I am certain they were done by Parker. They show the superior construction techniques for which Parker Furniture is renowned. The two side tables fit under the coffee table tailoring a smart, compact unit but they can also be pulled out to use as side tables. The teak is also beautiful with a stylish grain in the timber. This coffee table set would be right at home in any mid-century interior and would be especially ideal in a small inner-city apartment as the side tables can pushed away when not needed. Early PARKER FURNITURE pieces are hot property at the moment and this popularity is set to continue- these vintage pieces are well-built with a beautifully sleek style that’s hard to replicate cheaply.
