Background Info & Provenance

This chaise lounge sold in 2007 for $1195. These days in 2018 I’d price the exact same sofa at around $1400. This was a Limited Edition Tessa piece (I think it’s the only Tessa Limited Edition piece I’ve come across after 17 years of trading). I can’t find the description anymore unfortunately- (bloody Microsoft Word updates!). If I can remember rightly it was part of the “arthouse” series by Tessa. This was ORIGINAL Andy Warhol fabric used under license by Tessa. This piece took ages to sell. Eventually an Andy Warhol exhibition landed in Brisbane and this lounger sold the day this exhibition opened. This was when I had my showroom in Sydney. This piece was shipped up to Brisbane and I got additional enquiries about it that same week (after it had gone off-line). I’ve not seen another one since. Even though it was a Limited Edition piece to start with I’d say VERY few were made. (Less than a normal Limited Edition release.)
