Background and Provenance
A pair of vintage stools / side tables from the 1960’s / 70’s. These have loads of vintage character and a nice earthy style. Love those hand-woven sea-grass tops and the lighter tone of the timber. These won’t get lost on most floor-boards and would also be great in a more minimalist space- they have a refined understated elegance. The tops are not only stunning but sea-grass is very durable- just look at them after 40 – 50 years of use! They’d be very handy to have around as extra seating when needed but could also be displayed and used as side tables. The nice tapered legs cap off a very stylish pair.
After the majority of furniture ends up as landfill these vintage stools will be passed onto yet another generation. There’s no better way I can think of to invest in your home and reduce your carbon footprint.
